This homebrew Hard Ginger Beer Kit is designed to be as simple s possible while achieving great results.  Follow these simple instruction below and you'll be enjoying your Buderim Ginger beer is no time:

  1. Clean and Sterilise - Clean and sterilise all brewing equipment (Recommend the combination of Atomic 15 ABC and Atomic 15 No Rinse Sanitiser)
  2. Mix Ingredients - In a sanitised 20L fermenter, dissolve 3L hot water (not boiling) with Buderim Ginger Pouch and 1kg of Dextrose (sold separately) 
  3. Add Water and Yeast - Top up fermenter with cold water to 20L, ensure temperature is below 30℃ before adding yeast. Add the yeast an nutrient sachet and stir until the brew is thoroughly mixed. 
  4. Ferment - Seal fermenter with lid and airlock and allow the brew to ferment for 5-7 days at around 25℃.  **Note: Lower temperatures extend fermentation time. Fermentation will b complete once the SG readings have reached below 1.002 and the airlock stops bubbling. 
  5. Bottle and Prime - Clean and sterilise all bottles, caps and bottling equipment. Fill bottles with brewed ginger beer and prime them with sugar as follows:
    • 3g per 375ml
    • 4g per 500ml 
    • 8g per Litre
  6. Store and Consume - Store bottles upright for at least 2 weeks between 22-30℃ degrees to allow ginger beer to carbonate. Chill overnight and consume.
